Five key success factors in building a game-changing organization

Telco chiefs have outlined the crucial elements to creating transformative businesses, reports Niki Mullin from the TMForum in France

Five key elements hold the key to building a game-changing organization.

That is the finding from a top-level event held this week in Nice on France’s Cote d’Azur. Senior chiefs from the worlds of recruitment and telecoms devised the shortlist of factors following high-level discussions at the TMForum. Following a brainstorm, the bosses outlined the following five factors:

1. Keep on disrupting

2. Client centered approach

3. Ability to learn quickly

4. Shared common destiny

5. Continuous feedback both internal and external

Dialogue’s strategic partner, executive search and research firm e.g.1, hosted the executive summit, an exclusive invitation only event, which brought together c-level executives for a special programme designed to fuel idea exchange and networking.

eg.1 chief executive Nathan Ott was joined by chief executive of Exec Camp Barry O’Reilly, TM Forum founder Keith Willets, and former chief executive of EC Harris Philip Youell. The bosses challenged major Telco thought-leaders, asking what it takes to be a game-changer and what it means to be a game-changing team.
