El Economista is one of the most prestigious and influential publications about economy, finances, and business in Mexico.
Founded in 1988, the newspaper rapidly became a benchmark for other media during Mexico’s economic transformation process because of the quality of its contents, the depth of its analysis, and the development of its multiple digital platforms.
Since 2011, El Economista became a founding member of the Latin American Network of Economic Newspapers (RIPE) that includes the main specialized media in the region: La República from Colombia, Diario Financiero from Chile, Gestión from Peru, Cronista Comercial from Argentina, Expansión from Spain, and Valor from Brazil.
