Dialogue Live: UK Premier says colleagues are lying over Brexit

David Cameron warns that EU Leave campaign based on series of “untruths” at a live event this morning attended by Dialogue.

The UK Prime Minister has warned that the campaign for the UK to leave the EU is based on a series of lies – many of them made by his own colleagues.

The PM said that claims by his eurosceptic rivals that a Remain vote would lead to an inability to cap European spending and a European army were “untruths”.

He had been around the table when agreements to veto plans were made, while his eurosceptic colleagues – such as Boris Johnson and Michael Gove – were not.

Despite calling a snap conference to set the record straight, which was attended by dialoguereview.com this morning, the Prime Minister denied he was “worried” about the result.
