Strategy has a greater role

Early responders have already shed light on the changing nature of roles with more than 70% respondents answering ‘How do you expect your role to change in 2018?’ with saying they would be more strategic in 2018 with greater involvement in matters related to corporate direction, strategy, and creating long term shareholder value.

The future is bright

It is looking positive for economic outlook around the world, with 74% early respondents rating their confidence in the Global Economy as Extremely Strong/Strong and 85% rating the U.S. Economy as Extremely Strong/Strong for 2018.

Additionally, over 70% respondents state they expect revenues to increase in 2018 over those of 2017.

The #1 Challenge

When asked “What will your top Financial Challenge be in 2018?”, almost 50% said it would be increasing top line revenues.
