The gender pay gap will close… in 118 years

 

Businesswomen will have to wait more than a century before their pay is equitable with men doing the same job

Women’s pay will catch up with that of men – but nobody reading this article will still be around to see it. That is the analysis of the World Economic Forum, which said it would take 118 years before the persistent gender pay gap closes. And it added that progress on closing the gap has slowed in recent times, even though more women are joining the global workforce.
