Second edition of Internet of Things Solutions World Congress to feature ten live testbeds for industrial internet applications

Ten testbeds for real industrial applications are to take centre stage at a a major summit later this month.

The Internet of Things Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) will hold its second edition in Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue on October 25-27.

The Congress conferences will feature leading speakers covering six key areas: manufacturing, transport & logistics, healthcare, energy and utilities, technology, and innovation.

The event’s programme committee will select the best examples of real life industrial internet solutions to be showcased in the congress’s testbed area, located in the heart of its exhibition space.

This year’s committee includes representatives of ABB, Accenture, Cisco, Deloitte, EMC, GE, Industrial Internet Consortium, Infineon Technologies; Intel, Ipso, Microsoft, National Instruments, Object Management Group, SAP and Schneider Electric.

Congress director Roger Bou said: “We are very excited about this second IOTSWC. We are dealing with a disruptive set of technologies that will change industry as we know it. Gathering in Barcelona all the key players in the industrial internet field is the best way to make our contribution to this global transformation.”
