Are leaders born or made? Made, actually, and the scars show. Often the scars are hard won through adversity, from when leaders have tried to lead others, but found no-one will follow them: it takes two to tango. So is there a way to make this process less painful? Leadersmithing: it’s about learning how to learn the craft well. Like dance steps, it is about choreographing the right learning experiences, to create the muscle-memory required to lead successfully in the future.
