Dialogue was at The Nest last week, our media partner – Toucan‘s – annual executive conference, which connects the very best creative entrepreneurs with mentors and investors
The event held at the Andaz Hotel on Liverpool Street began with an informal meet and greet session over breakfast in the foyer where we had our own stand displayed with Dialogue magazine and LID books.
The chief executive and founder of Toucan gave us all a warm and sincere welcome before the talks commenced.
It was an insightful day packed with presentations and panel discussions on relevant topics such as Happy Business: 10 Tips to Keep a Spring in Your Step and Smile on Your Face, What Do They Teach You At Business School?, Angels and the Crowd: What It Takes to Get Funded, How Investors Chase You, Rather Than Vice Versa, The Uplifting Story of Attollo Lingerie – which certainly excited the crowd, The Power of Story Telling, Why Science Points Towards a “Failure Culture” for Success, Navigating the Angel Financing, Future Stars and more.
Drinks were served to close the day with an opportunity to mingle with an array of entrepreneurs, mentors and investors.
